ETV debate: GOP candidates for lieutenant governor to square off Thursday night

The Republican candidates for lieutenant governor will debate tonight on S.C. ETV from 7 to 8 p.m. The debate is the fourth of five that ETV and a group of S.C. newspapers - The State, The Greenville News, The Beaufort Gazette, The Island Packet of Hilton Head, The Sun News of Myrtle Beach, The Herald of Rock Hill and The Item of Sumter - are sponsoring.

Who? Appearing will be retired Charleston developer Pat McKinney, Tea Party activist Ray Moore of Columbia, business consultant Mike Campbell of Columbia and former S.C. Attorney General Henry McMaster.

What’s next? The GOP candidates for the U.S. Senate seat held by Lindsey Graham will debate Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m. on ETV.
