COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum is taking part in some tailgating during his next trip to South Carolina.
The former Pennsylvania senator is spending time meeting with supporters on Saturday in one of the Cockabooses outside Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia prior to the annual football rivalry matchup between the University of South Carolina and Clemson University.
Later in the day, Santorum is heading to Greenwood, where he'll have lunch with voters and elected officials at Mig’s Pizza Castle.
Santorum wraps up the day by working the drive-thru window at a Chick-fil-A in Anderson. He has other stops lined up in the state for Sunday and Monday.
