The filing period for the November 5 Municipal Election has opened and closes at 5 p.m. Sept. 6.

So far, the following people have filed for office:

• Bruce A. Trezevant has filed for the District One City Council seat

• District Three incumbent Moe Baddourah has filed for the mayoral seat

• At-Large incumbent Tameika Isaac Devine has filed for the at-large seat

• District One incumbent Sam Davis has filed for the district one seat
