State Sen. Vincent Sheheen, the likely Democratic candidate for governor, will be busy this week meeting with teachers, attending legislative meetings and hosting a Christmas party at his campaign headquarters.
Here's the schedule:
TUESDAY: Sheheen hosts a Christmas party at his campaign headquarters in Camden. 5:30 p.m., 936 Broad Street. RSVP here if you want to go.
Never miss a local story.
THURSDAY: Sheheen meets with the legislative conference committee on S.22, a bill that would restructure state government by abolishing the state Budget and Control Board and transferring most of the state's administrative duties to the governor's office. Sheheen is the primary sponsor of the bill, which is also a priority for Republican Gov. Nikki Haley.
