Let's go Stumping: Democrats will gather on the western edge of Horry County today for their biennial speech-fest that dates back to 1876, the Galivants Ferry Stump . The party's top-of-ticket nominees in November, gubernatorial challenger Vincent Sheheen and lieutenant governor hopeful Bakari Sellers, will join other candidates and MSNBC commentator Jimmy Williams (a Palmetto State native) to rally the faithful. This year's event in the land of boiled peanuts will honor former U.S. Sen. and Gov. Fritz Hollings for 60 years of stumping.
