What's else is happening today (besides the primary): A conference committee meets discuss Senate bill 535 , which contains three proposals in one -- allowing the College of Charleston to become a research university, Clemson University to bypass state regulatory approvals for construction projects and all public colleges to forgo some state regulatory approvals for construction work. (2 p.m., Gressette 105 / Agenda ) ... Gov. Nikki Haley and U.S. Sens. Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott are expected to attend GE's announced $73 million expansion at its Greenville operation at 11 a.m.

When Twitter goes wrong...
Gov. Nikki Haley posted a tweet Monday that broke off in an unfortunate spot. She replaced it later in the day but not before national websites -- including Gawker , New York magazine , The Daily Caller and Huffington Post -- picked up on it.
