South Carolina’s Republican-controlled Senate is bruising blue as Republicans implode.
A power struggle in the Legislature's upper chamber could result in a less-than-desirable outcome for Gov. Nikki Haley as two top Republican senators – with varying allegiances to Haley – compete to be Senate president pro tem.
Sens. Larry Martin, R-Pickens, and Hugh Leatherman, R-Florence, have said they are running for the post.
U.S. Rep. Mick Mulvaney, R-Indian Land, shares with The Buzz his prospects for 2018, and how he's eyeing an office a little closer to home.
