Governor’s schedule and activities

Gov. Nikki Haley’s public schedule for the rest of this week, released Monday by her staff, is:

Tuesday, 11 a.m. – Take part in a groundbreaking ceremony, Ruiz Foods, Florence

Wednesday, 4 p.m. – Hold constituent meetings, State House

According to her staff, Haley’s schedule for last week included:

5 – Meetings concerning state policy

3 – Economic development activities – a meeting, announcing the Golf Channel’s fall “Big Break” TV show will take place in Myrtle Beach and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Crescent Dairy and Beverages in Walterboro

2 each – Meetings concerning state agencies; also, speeches, taking part in the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce’s executive speaker series and addressing the Moncks Corner Rotary Club

1 each – Meeting with constituents; also, a legislative meeting; and a ceremonial duty, a photo with Order of the Palmetto recipient Kenneth Shuler

Busiest day – Tuesday, with nine activities

Slowest day –Wednesday, with two activities

Of note: Haley’s schedule listed no activities for either Monday or Friday of last week
