The S.C. education board approves a timeline for new standards to replace Common Core. Final approval is set for next March on new student math and reading benchmarks.
Francis Marion University and College of Charleston to talk about a collaboration. The move comes as the Florence school opens a nursing program in Mount Pleasant.
