A St. Matthews woman is a quarter million dollars richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket from a Columbia business, officials said.
The woman told lottery officials she purchased a Cash Bonanza scratch-off ticket at Sam’s Food Mart, 6340 St. Andrews Road, according to a news release from the S.C. Education Lottery.
The woman, who was not named, left the store after she learned she had a winning ticket and drove straight to the lottery’s claims center to cash it in, the release stated.
“I’m going to go crazy shopping,” she said.
