Myrtle Beach have blocked traffic in the 1700 block of South Ocean Boulevard, where firefighters have responded to a chlorine leak at an oceanfront hotel and a number of patients have reported injuries.
Lt. Christian Sliker said 15 people were injured in the incident, but he could not specify what any of the symptoms were that the patients complained of.
Firefighters responded about 8 p.m. to a reported chlorine leak at the Landmark Resort Hotel. Firefighters still are on the scene of that incident. Police have blocked traffic on Ocean Boulevard at 16th Avenue South and 17th Avenue South.
