Hunting Island State Park became even more susceptible to flooding after Hurricane Matthew took out the sand dune system last October. That's why park manager Daniel Gambrell says the water damage from Tropical Storm Irma is actually worse than it was with Matthew. Two days after Irma, the state park still has up to 3 ft. of water on some of its roadways and parking lots. Park officials say it could be closed for the rest of the year. Here's a look at the damage.
Hurricane Irma is expected to strengthen to a Category 4 storm on Monday
The storm is still too far out for accurate prediction of where it will go. By midweek, it will be approaching the Lesser Antilles, likely to the northern edge, putting Antigua and Barbuda, Guadelope, and Dominica in its path, but forecasts could change before that.

Former roommates are in a South Carolina lawsuit over ownership of Reagan, a Goldendoodle dog and the former mascot of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at Winthrop University.
