A Greenville man is accused of walking around a Walmart with an air rifle and pointing it at customers in a "dangerous and threatening manner," authorities said Wednesday.
Caleb Detwan Harvell, 21, of Wild Dogwood Way, was charged with shoplifting and breach of peace, aggravated in nature, according to warrants.
Deputies were dispatched to the Walmart on Woodruff Road about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after a woman reported a man walking down the aisle with a black rifle in his hands, according to warrants and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.
After making eye contact, "the victim states that he leveled the rifle and pointed it directly at her face," a warrant said. "The victim was able to duck behind some shelves and then ran to the rear of the store with an employee to call for help."

Deputies said the rifle was a Crossman Pumpmaster air rifle that had been removed from its box.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
The suspect was transported to the Greenville County Detention Center, where he was released on bond Wednesday, according to the Sheriff's Office.
