A Wednesday morning wreck on Interestate 20 in Lexington county left one person dead.
The Lexngton County coroner has identified the person killed as 19-year-old Skylar Blankenbeckler.
Lance Cpl. David Jones with State Highway Patrol said Phillip Holloway was driving a 2000 Toyota westbound on I-20 near mile marker 39 next to a 2009 Toyota around 9:45 a.m.
Jones said the driver of the 2009 Toyota, Blankenbeckler, went off the left shoulder of the road, overcorrected and went to the right shoulder of the road striking Holloway’s vehicle. Both of the vehicles then went into the right shoulder of the road and overturned.

Blankenbeckler was entrapped in her vehicle and died on scene. Jones said she was not wearing a seat belt.
Holloway of Centerville, Utah, was transported to Lexington Medical Center for injuries. Jones said he also was not wearing a seat belt during the crash. His injuries were not life-threatening Lexington County coroner Margaret Fisher said.
State troopers continue to investigate this case.
