Wow: SCE&G does it again. The company is getting a big at-a-boy for donating $1 million to the Salvation Army to assist customers in need. That is fantastic.
But the big at-a-boy should be given to all SCE&G customers, who make this possible. If SCE&G wants to present a big gift, it should be given to its devoted customers every month in their bills.
SCE&G should be taking lessons from local electric cooperatives on how to better justify its accounting practices.
