I don’t support either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, but I do find some of the letters about them fascinating. Such was the case with two letters published Sept. 30. The first, “Clinton’s ailment easy to identify,” said she suffers from “lyingitis.” Now this letter was published soon after the first debate in which one fact check organization said 52 percent of what Donald Trump said was mostly false or false. This was compared to a 25 percent score for Clinton. So yes, she does have a touch of lyingitis, but his is worse. The sniffles gave it away.
Another letter (“Emails show Clinton lacks integrity”) said a vote for Trump will restore integrity. Really? So voting for a man who is in the midst of 3,500 lawsuits (two for sexual harassment), was sued for discrimination at 39 housing sites, had a cameo appearance in a Playboy porn film, mocks disabled reporters, bribed the Florida attorney general with a $25,000 donation to drop a fraud case against him, has an unhealthy sexual obsession with his daughter, calls returning service men who suffer PTSD weak … this is integrity?
Folks, we are in trouble whoever wins.
