Thank you, Gov. Nikki Haley, for signing the bill that allows firearms to be carried into bars and restaurants. Responsible people with concealed-weapons permits can now carry and feel safe while we dine. While I always do business and shop where weapons are allowed, now I don’t have to lock my weapon in my car while I enjoy dinner.

Mass shootings always happen in “gun free” zones because they are a welcome sign for criminals and crazies, as there is no one to stop them.

I choose to frequent restaurants and stores where my concealed weapon is welcome and I am not dependent on someone else for protection.
