So South Carolina has a law similar to the one that was proposed in Arizona to protect businesses that use religious beliefs in their activities.

In that case, why not require everyone to always be clearly identified as to their religious preference, including none, so that business owners do not unwittingly provide services and products to those they would otherwise refuse for religious reasons, which could get them in hot water with their religion? Just trying to protect them.
