Gov. Nikki Haley’s hatred of unions shows that she has no respect for the hard-working man or woman in our state.
I have been a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters for 38 years. This has afforded me a really good wage, but more importantly it has kept me alive. I am undergoing my second battle with cancer, and without union health insurance I probably would be dead or living on the street because of the high cost of health insurance.
Fortunately I have not had to choose which treatment to spend my money on. I cannot understand why Gov. Haley does not want the working people of our state to have what I have. God bless the unions and my local 509.
