Sunday letters: Recycling is being handled poorly

The biggest curse on the human race is poor management.

Take our recycling program. We were given little red containers to put cardboard in. Then we were told to use tall, lime-green containers. I had so much cardboard that the tall green container got full, so I put the overflow in the little red one.

The garbage men emptied the big one but left the small one full. When I called to see why, they said it’s their policy not to service the little red ones any more.

It took a group of human beings to make this decision? At what salary? Incredible.
