Since the Richland County legislative delegation is allergic to meetings, and because fireworks vendors have a penchant for placing their booths in gas station parking lots, I have a suggestion.

Hold the legislative delegation’s meetings — and, heck, why not all S.C. legislative bodies’ meetings — within 50 feet of fireworks booths, and between said booths and the gas pumps, where people can’t seem to get enough of smoking.

Perhaps more might get done, way more expeditiously.
