I read that Chicago’s mayor wants to take in 1,000 immigrant kids and house them in Chicago to protect them from the dangerous conditions in the country they from which they fled.

Is he kidding? There were around 82 people shot — 16 died — just over the Fourth of July weekend, according to news reports. Looks like those poor kids will end up in a more dangerous place than the one they fled.

Looks like a political move rather then a humanitarian gesture. Maybe he is looking at all that money he would get to look after the kids.
