Once again our senior senator, Lindsey Graham, has demonstrated his remarkable, consistent leadership by staying the course on protecting our great ally in the region, Israel.

In fact, all of the S.C. delegation voted for an additional $225 million in military aid to Israel for the extension of the anti-rocket defense system, Iron Dome, which has saved thousands of lives over the past month. All, that is, except U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford.

What was this guy thinking? Does Mark Sanford not endorse peace? I guess not. Does Mark Sanford not care about our only real ally in the Middle East? I guess not. Is Mark Sanford more interested in the welfare of Hamas than Israel? I think so.

Does Mark Sanford not support jobs in the United States? That’s what this Iron Dome system does. I’ll be Sanford doesn’t realize that most of Israel’s foreign aid package each year must pay for products produced in the United States, which provides American jobs.

God bless Lindsey Graham for his unwavering support.

If we keep Mark Sanford in the U.S. House, World War III will be on our doorstep, and on Sanford’s conscience for the rest of his life.
