The possibility that Gov. Nikki Haley and Attorney General Alan Wilson might lose in court on the gay marriage issue doesn’t mean they should give up their principles. I support them, as do many other South Carolinians, and expect them to see the case to the end. When they do, they will be able to say that they did the best they could and lost, but did not give in.
The final judge — God — will one day speak, and the answer will be known. Some will be on the wrong side. What about you?
