After Thanksgiving reminds us of America’s bounteous blessings, some thoughts of Christmas seem right to consider:
Every child should have a Bible, a Mother Goose book, a copy of Richard Scarry’s Best First Book Ever! and The Best Loved Poems of the American People.
In January, at the beginning of the second semester — Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday — an extra paycheck should be issued to employees to help recover from Christmas bills. Instead of teachers getting 24 paydays a year, it should be 25.
To slow down children from having children, birth control pills should go with free lunch, as reasonable.
Wishing you and yours a merry Christmas and a most blessed 2015.
