Letters: Columbia should focus on needs, not baseball | The State

Thank you to all the first responders, and thank you for the generosity and kindness of the volunteers.

Our city government needs to get back to the basic needs of the people: roads, bridges, water and sewer lines — not baseball parks, parking garages and tax breaks for wealthy corporations.

Please use the water and sewer money on the people who have lived and worked here their entire lives. South Carolina has always been great. Let’s keep working to keep it that way. God bless all.
