Westmoreland strikes out 15 batters and hits solo home run as Brookland-Cayce caps off spectacular season

  • Dutch Fork Golf: Champions


    Dutch Fork wasted little time in getting back to the top of Class 4A golf. The Silver Foxes took a 26-shot lead on the first day of the championship tournament and finished with an 897-936 victory against runner-up Gaffney. Dutch Fork claimed its third title in seven seasons, and afterwards, coach Mark Giles talked to The State’s Akilah Imani Nelson about the overwhelming victory.- 10:24 PM
