Push is on to register ‘missing’ voters in S.C.

The S.C. Progressive Network is seeking to register up to 1 million eligible voters, more than a quarter of whom are minorities.

The Missing Voter project is a nonpartisan campaign that will spend today at St. John Baptist Church in Columbia training groups to register voters. The campaign is partnering with the NAACP and the S.C. Voter Education Project.

The session will run from 7-9 p.m. The church is at Farrow Road and Beltline Blvd. Call (803) 808-3384.
