Homecomings on tap for returning troops

At armories across the state today, there will be seven homecoming celebrations for the 218th Brigade Combat Team.

• 2:30 p.m., Darlington armory, 1764 Harry Byrd Highway

• 4 p.m., Rock Hill armory, 126 Museum Road

• 4:30 p.m., Newberry armory, 275 General Henderson Road

• 4:30 p.m., North Charleston armory, 7220 Cross County Road

• 4:30 p.m., Walterboro armory, 849 Cottageville Highway (17A)

• 5 p.m., Fountain Inn armory, 150 Speedway Drive
