"What About Us" The schools of Dillon District 2 seem to have been lost in time. The gyms have no air conditioning, hallways have no heat, roofs leak, and classrooms are overcrowded to name a few of the problems. All of this contributes to low morale and a feeling of hopelessness. The district is home to the oldest school in S.C. still in use, J.V. Martin Junior High School, seen here. It was built in 1896.
