With many broken windows, poor electrical wiring, and overall decay, J.V. Martin Junior High School auditorium, which was built in 1912 has been condemned. It is used for storage now. Without an auditorium to use school plays and other functions must be held in the school's cafeteria which lacks the space needed for many functions.
