East Elementary students hurry while they eat breakfast to make room for their peers in the cafeteria that was built in the late 1940's. East Elementary Title 1 Facilitator, Bobbie Walters said, " We need a bigger cafeteria so we can have room to invite parents and grandparents to have lunch with their children." Lunch must begin at 10:15 A.M. so that all 620 students can eat by 1: 00 P.M. 83.57% of the students receive free or reduced meals.
