Racers take off on the half marathon. The Governor's Cup Road Race was held in downtown Columbia, S.C., Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009. Racers started in front of the State House at the intersection of Main and Gervais streets and ran east along Gervais St. finishing on Sumter St. between Green and College streets.
