Clemson coach Dabo Swinney told anxious top Tiger alum, Gov. Nikki Haley, "This is our time," in answering a text about Saturday's nationally televised face-off against Florida State, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Haley swaps text messages with Swinney on Thursday or Friday before the Tigers play and then after the games.
"He's probably tired of hearing from me," she told the Journal.
Nervous about undefeated No. 3-ranked Clemson facing undefeated No. 5 Florida State, Haley said she texted Swinney on Tuesday.
She received the confident reply from the coach, who has led the Tigers to its highest ranking since 1984.
