Former Gamecocks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has signed a card and autograph deal with Panini America. He was the No. 1 pick by the Houston Texans in the NFL Draft.
“It’s rare for a defensive player to generate so much excitement and capture so much interest from trading card collectors as Clowney has,” Panini America CEO Mark Warsop said. “It illustrates how dynamic and talented he is.”
Panini also has signed quarterbacks Teddy Bridgewater and Johnny Manziel to card deals.
Clowney will be at the NFL Rookie Premiere (May 28 – June 1) in Los Angeles with 39 others, who will sign cards and stickers to be placed in future releases.
