Shaq Roland’s career is once again in limbo.
South Carolina’s talented and troubled receiver is not with the Gamecocks as they prepare for Saturday’s Duck Commander Bowl, two team sources confirmed just before USC boarded its plane to Shreveport, La., on Tuesday. Roland, who missed the Kentucky game and has had his highlights equaled by his lowlights this season, is eligible for the NFL Draft but it was unclear early Tuesday if he had elected to go that route.
The Gamecocks are flying to Shreveport. Coach Steve Spurrier is set to address the media at 4 p.m.
