For the third consecutive week, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel remains at the top of The State’s weekly Heisman Trophy poll.

Manziel, the 2012 Heisman winner, led the Aggies to a high-scoring win against Arkansas and received eight of the first-place votes from the 13 Heisman voters who participate in this poll.

Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd jumped back into second place with his big game in the 56-7 blowout of Wake Forest. Quarterbacks continue to dominate the poll, with seven of the first eight players on the list playing the position. Fifth-place Georgia tailback Todd Gurley is the exception.

All 13 players who made this week’s list play on teams that are ranked in this week’s AP Top 25 poll.
