The Clemson Tigers (11-2) finished at No. 8 in the final Associated Press college football poll.

The Tigers jumped to No. 8 from No. 12 after beating Ohio State in the Orange Bowl.

The Buckeyes dropped out of the Top 10 to No. 12 in the final poll.

With national champion Florida State -- which beat Auburn on Monday night -- and Clemson, the Atlantic Coast Conference had two teams in the Top 10. Duke, which finished No. 23, is the only other ACC team in the Top 25. Louisville, which joins the ACC next season, finished at No. 15. The SEC had four teams in the Top 10 (No. 2 Auburn, No. 4 South Carolina, No. 5 Missouri and No. 7 Alabama) and a total of seven teams in the Top 25 (also, No. 14 LSU, No. 18 Texas A&M, and No. 24 Vanderbilt).
