DL Kyle Henderson (6-2 280) of Tampa made a visit to Clemson Monday as part of a tour of schools he's taking this week with some teammates. Tuesday he was at Tennessee and Wednesday he saw Wake Forest. Thursday the plan is to see Georgia Tech on the way back home.
While at Clemson Henderson watched practice and talked with head coach Dabo Swinney and recruiter Tony Elliott. "It was pretty good, I liked it," Henderson said. "I liked the whole campus and the indoor facility."
Clemson has not yet offered Henderson but he's optimistic about one from the Tigers in a few weeks. "They said they are going to come down in the spring and they'll probably offer me," he said adding that a Clemson offer would lead to serious consideration from him.
Henderson said he also liked the looks of things at Tennessee on his visit there but right now he has no favorites.
Henderson has offers from Mississippi State, Oregon State, Missouri, Cincinnati, Indiana, Central Florida, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech.
Last season playing nose and three technique Henderson totaled 70 tackles and 6 sacks.
