Clemson did not make the cut with 6-0 PG Jawun Evans, the Simpsonville native now living in Dallas. Evans, regarded as one of the top point guards in the 2015 class, had Clemson in his final eight, but his final four schools are Texas, Oklahoma State, Southern Cal and Illinois.
Another Clemson point guard target, 6-7 CJ Williamson of Orlando, also cut his list in half on Tuesday, from six to three, and he included the Tigers. Williamson is down to Clemson, Texas Tech and Virginia Tech. He will take an official visit to Texas Tech on September 13th and one to Virginia Tech October 23rd. He will also visit Clemson. Schools not making the cut were Kansas State, Alabama and Washington State.
Clemson Wednesday landed a baseball commitment for 2015 from RHP Graham Lawson (6-1 215) of Woodruff. He announced the commitment on Twitter: “I am blessed to say I have officially committed to Clemson University What a dream come true. The work is just beginning. Go Tigers!” He's the 13th commitment for Clemson's 2015 class.
