6-5 Tevin Mack of Dreher attended the football games at USC and Georgia and spent time with the Bulldogs basketball staff while in Athens according to his AAU coach. Major Williamson wasn't sure if Mack saw the Gamecock coaching staff while he was at Williams-Brice. But he will see Frank Martin next week.
Williamson said all of the head coaches of the teams Mack is still considering are expected to make their in home visits next week. That would be Martin and Brad Brownell of Clemson along with Mark Fox of Georgia, Shaka Smart of VCU and Danny Manning of Wake Forest.
Williamson said Mack has not indicated to him any favorites at this point.
"There's no clear leader," he said. "VCU and Georgia have been recruiting him the longest but he says there's no leader."
Mack has official visits set with Georgia September 20th, VCU September 27th and Clemson October 4th. He hasn't set his official visit dates yet with USC and Wake Forest.
Mack plans to sign in November.
