Junior QB Drayton Arnold of Myrtle Beach visited Clemson for the USC game and remains in contact with the Tigers. Arnold's sole offer is from Ohio but he continues to hear from Clemson and recently visited East Carolina.
"I really enjoyed visiting Clemson," he said. "It's a big school and they;re known for their good quarterbacks. I talk to coach (Danny) Pearman three or four times a week and we're building a good relationship, I think they're interested but we'll have to just wait-and-see. I'm just taking it one day at a time."
His visit to East Carolina came earlier in November and was also a positive experience.
"That was the first time I got to see their stadium and it's really nice," he said. "I also saw their new weight room and it's really big. I enjoyed it a lot of there. I got to talk to coach (Kirk) Doll quite a bit and I think that we're moving closer to an offer. Of course I understand that this is a business so I am just remaining patient and seeing what happens."
Arnold does not have any favorites. "I'm interested in any school that is interested in me."
