Didem Ege had 21 digs for Clemson as the Tigers beat Maryland 25-17, 25-20, 25-17 on Saturday. The win improved Clemson to 13-5 overall and 4-3 in the ACC.
Tigers win quad-meet
At Atlanta, Clemson's women's team won a quad-meet, beating Western Kentucky 164.5-135.5, Miami (Fla.) 162-124, and host Georgia Tech 160-138. Meg Anderson (50 free) and Kelli Kyle (100 backstroke) won events for Clemson.
Clemson's men's team beat Western Kentucky 155-145 and lost to Georgia Tech 165-135. Tom Recko won the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke for the Tigers.
