Long time Clemson lean offensive lineman Ryan Norton (6-4 275) of Mauldin formally committed to the Tigers Friday night following his spring game.
Norton's commitment was first reported by David Hood of TigerNet.com.
"I just had the gut feeling I wanted to go ahead and commit because Clemson is the best fit for me," Norton said. "I wanted to go ahead and commit now because from now on I just want to focus on my team and I don't want anything else on my mind. But I'm very excited to be a Clemson Tiger."
Norton had also considered Georgia Tech and USC but always had Clemson out front.
Norton is a center and will be used as an interior lineman with the Tigers.
