Defensive lineman Scott Pagano (6-foot-4, 268 pounds) of Honolulu committed to Clemson on Tuesday, choosing the Tigers over LSU, Alabama and Florida.
After spending the weekend at Clemson, Pagano returned home with no doubt that he had found his next home.
“It’s just perfect there,” he said. “Coach (Dabo) Swinney is just like my high school’s coach. He’s religious, and he believes in team unity. I’ve never seen anyone just read The Bible for fun. It’s where I want to be.”
Pagano says he is finished with recruiting and will not take any other visits. Pagano is Clemson’s 16th commitment for the 2013 class and the first interior defensive lineman.
