Wide receiver Frank Ladson committed to Clemson for the 2019 class while on campus for Saturday's spring game.
Ladson (6-4, 170) will give the Clemson quarterbacks another big target. He'll follow in the mold of Mike Williams, Deon Cain and Tee Higgins. He decommitted from Florida in March of 2017 and visited Clemson earlier this year. That got the ball rolling in Clemson's favor.
"The consistency and sincerity displayed to us had made my decision easy, and I couldn't be more grateful for this opportunity of a lifetime," Ladson said.
He's coming off a junior season of 29 catches for 675 yards and 8 touchdowns. He said the plan is for the Tigers to use him as an outside receiver so he can take advantage of his physical gifts.
“My size, speed and advantage in one-on-one matchups make me a fit for that position,” he said of the "field" receiver. “Of course, I can go up and get the ball and high-point it.”
