Tiffany Mitchell earned the coaches’ SEC Player of the Year award, recognized by the league’s heads as the top scorer and most dynamic player on the SEC’s best team.
Mitchell led South Carolina in scoring this season, averaging 15.2 points per game after a strong freshman year, where she averaged 9.2 points while starting all but three games.
Mitchell, coach Dawn Staley and Mitchell’s high-school coach each described a player who absolutely can’t stand to lose.
