South Carolina's men's and women's tennis teams are on their way to the NCAA Tournament.
The No. 29 USC men on Tuesday earned their third-straight at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Gamecocks (15-13) will face No. 52 George Washington in the first round on May 10, in Chapel Hill, N.C. The winner will advance to play the winner of the match between host North Carolina, the national No. 7 seed, and S.C. State on May 11.
South Carolina head coach Josh Goffi led the Gamecocks on a late-season rally, winning eight of their last 12 matches.
The No. 28 USC women's tennis team earned its 20th consecutive NCAA Tournament bid and will face No. 36 Ohio State in the first round May 9 at Ambler Tennis Center in Durham, N.C. Also competing in the Durham regional will be host and No. 6-ranked Duke and East Tennessee State, who play May 9. The winners will square off May 10.
South Carolina will head to Durham for the second time in three years for first- and second-round NCAA play.
The Gamecocks enter the tournament with a 16-10 record.
