Gamecocks hold steady in Baseball America Top 25

South Carolina stayed put in this week's Baseball America Top 25 after going 4-0 last week.
The Gamecocks (39-13) remained at No. 17 after a week that included an SEC series sweep of Missouri.
USC hosts The Citadel at 7 p.m. Tuesday before traveling to No. 18 Vanderbilt for a Thursday to Saturday series. The Commodores (38-14) lost a midweek game to Louisville before winning a series against Florida in Gainesville.
USC and Vanderbilt are both 16-11 in the SEC and behind Florida (19-8) in the eastern division.
Virginia remained at No. 1 in the Baseball America Top 25 for the fifth straight week. Florida dropped to eighth after losing the home series against Vanderbilt.
