South Carolina will meet Alabama in the Dec. 6 SEC Championship Game in Atlanta, according to an annual vote by the league's 14 football sports information directors.
The Gamecocks and Crimson Tide are both predicted to win their respective divisions, according to the The AL.com/Birmingham News' 68th annual Spring SEC Football Report.
USC received five first-place votes and a total of 35 points from the SEC Eastern sports information directors, ahead of Georgia's two first-place votes and 30 total points.
Senior guard A.J. Cann and junior running back Mike Davis were both selected to the preseason first-team offense.
